Our Founders
Novitas Health was built by two experienced registered nurses who spent their careers watching patients leave the hospital without the ongoing support they deserved.
With over 20 years of registered nursing experience spanning acute care, geriatrics, and community health, Ngozi has dedicated her career to closing the gap between hospital care and home recovery. She founded Novitas Health after seeing firsthand how the right support at home leads to better outcomes, stronger families, and patients who truly thrive. Ngozi holds licensure in Minnesota and brings a warm, patient-centered philosophy to every aspect of how Novitas operates.
Mercy brings more than 20 years of nursing expertise across medical-surgical, post-surgical recovery, and home health settings. Her deep understanding of care transitions — the critical window between discharge and full recovery — shapes every care plan Novitas develops. Known among colleagues for her precision, empathy, and advocacy for underserved communities, Mercy ensures that clinical excellence and genuine human connection are never in conflict at Novitas Health.
